Title: Etude No. 17
Media: Acrylic, holographic paper on canvas
Dimensions: 16"x16"
Finish Date: November, 2006
Commentary:

This work is a test of the adhesion of a holographic paper I found and the delaminated holographic film derived from it. Other tests revealed a hydrophobic characteristic of the surface that makes it hard to work with, with acrylics.

Thin washes of colour were not deemed attractive, although commercial applications using other materials such as perhaps lacquer, seem to be viable. The fundametal problem is not having manufactures' information on the product's technical characteristics.
